We just returned from Washington D.C. & Baltimore, Maryland. The students really enjoyed it.
Many students was "moved to tears" in the Black Wax Museum in Baltimore. They saw pictures of the slave ship and many other things that took place during slavery. They also saw the progress African Americans made as famous writer, doctors, people in government and etc. This certainly made the students feel better. The Frederick Douglass house and the film we saw was great. D.C. was great! We had a wonderful guide who took us everywhere.
Enjoy the pictures!
